The antenna on a Lancer is big (huge even).
I didn't really hate it, but it wasn't looking as good as it could.
On top of that, it was really all bent and crooked when i put my car cover on there.
So i decided to put a shorty antenna on there.
I wanted to just get one like they sell in any car-audio store, but apparantly
the antenna for a Lancer EVO is something special, and they couldn't help me.
So i started looking around and bumped into an ebay store who sold Perrin
shorty antennas for EVO VIII and IX.
On the Perrin website it was only listed as EVO VIII.
Since they are very similar i opted to believe the ebay-add and ordered one.
This is what i got in the mail :

Looks like a perfect fit, but it wasn't.
When i screwed it on, it had a gap of a few milimeters between the bottom
of the antenna and the vortex generator.
So i whipped out the old Dremel-tool and cut of a few milimeter of the thread.
Screwed it on again, and it was all good.
