Everywhere i read about underdrive pulleys, they say the performance gains are pretty good.
These 2 wheels i bought sure didn't do what i expected.

Auto Specialties Performance makes these underdrive pulleys.

How is works is very simple. The put a smaller wheel on the crank and also a bigger wheel on the alternator (both marked with te red arrows on the photo). This way the service belt drives the accessories slower and the alternator with the bigger wheel rotates even less. So it doesn't generate more HP, but just makes sure more HP get to your wheels instead of your accessories.

If you order these pulleys for your 3.1L V6 (with airco) you'll also need a shorter belt. K060980 from Gates to be exact.
