Hi there, and welcome to my little web-shack.
As you probably noticed, this site contains info on my 4 cars.
A pain in the ass as they can somtimes be, i really love them, so much
even that i decided to dedicate a whole site to them !!
If you have any comments or questions, feel free to contact me.
If you have a more technical question, you can always try and
ask my brother (Ludo, he's the one who works on these cars).
Anyway, hope you like what you see, and who knows, maybe you'll
find something usefull here.
Last but not least, a humble thanks-praise-hail and mad props to ya'll to
Tom Emmerechts (aka Fatsie) for hooking me up with the webspace and to
Denis Van Linden for making my bannerlogo and the Firebird and Corvette logo's,
and last but not least my bro, for wrenching on my 3 wrecks, even late
at night when you'd rather be home sleeping (or whatever) !!!!

18 september 2006 : Whoops i did it again ! |
So i bought another car, a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX.
Like Jeremy Clarkson put it so nicely, it really is lawbreakingly
fast.
And as you can guess ... i already got another ticket.
I'm off to a good start !!! 1 ticket in the first 1000 km.
We also started work on the Corvette again, so expect some updates pretty soon.

6 june 2006 : Back in business again ! |

I know, it has been silent on this side, but things are about to change.
First reason for the silence is that i've been at war with freeze-plugs !
Damn, i seriously hate these things, and what a pain in the ass they are
to replace on a Firebird whitout pulling the engine !!!
Next issue is the Belgian government and their new tuning laws.
I had to go for my annual technical inspection, and got a red paper.
Where it comes down to in this new retarded tuning law is that nothing
is allowed anymore !!
My complete exhaust has no certification for use in the EU, polyurethane
bushings are not allowed either, no changes to the braking system is allowed,
changing sway-bars is illegal too, any sort of motortuning is illegal, i even
got a remark for my airfilter being in direct connection with the outside
air. Only thing that is legal is a spoiler (if it is not to big,
and not made
out of aluminium or carbon).
Anyway, my Firebird is hereby deemed unfit for our Belgian streets.
So it will become a dedicated project car, because there is no way in hell
i'm removing all that fancy stuff i've been bolting on for the last couple
of years.
For the time being, my only means of transportation is my bycicle (trusty old
Kona Cindercone). It has been modified also, so i hope they are not coming
up with a bycicle tuning law in the near future.
There will be another addition to the stable in the near future however ... just
wait and see !!

7 may 2004 : Got the predator GFX, found headers ! |
I found a place that sells the Kobel Predator Ground Effects that i wanted.
And they are nice enough to send it to Belgium too !!!
The place to be is JC Whitney.

I already have my Pile-O-Plastic and it will get installed somewhere in or after this summer !!
I also found headers for the Firebird V6 !!!
There are 2 choices, Pacesetter or a company called PF&E.
Pacesetter headers aren't available yet, but already prototyped and will go into production pretty soon.
Check out the Pacesetter website
to see when they are available.
PF&E is a small company that make these headers on demand.
I chose them because they are 304 stainless steel.
If you would choose for PF&E yourself, i should warn you,
they are the kings of delay ....
I ordered my set of headers on 21 january and i'm still waiting ...
Info and contact information on PF&E (no, they don't have a website) can be found
on the Thirdgen.Org message boards (V6).
They have a truckload of other usefull information there too,
and a board dedicated to the V6 !!!
As for the steering wheel with airbags, i've given up on that ...

When you occasionally drive fast, you 'll sooner or later get a ticket.
It happens to all of us, and apparently it's my time again.
Sad thing is i didn't know i was speeding, there was a shortcut in my dashboard !! REALLY !!!
Why don't you believe me ???
Haha, i'm just yanking your cord !!! My white Firebird works fine (except for the alternator that doesn't
work anymore and my hatch that waits about 10 minutes before it closes).
So if any of you have some extra money lying around, now is the time to send it to me so
i can pay my fucking ticket !!! Thankx !!!

19 september 2003 : Got my hands on some shop manuals ! |
Yes, that's right! I found a little place on the internet where you
can buy actual shop manuals. I'm not talking about those crappy
excuses for books from Haynes or to a lesser extent Chilton's, but
the actual books that official garages use. For my Firebird for
example this is a 3000 pages long book with symptoms, test and
solutions.
So if you work on your own car, you might want to check it out !!!
